From Cvil War to Uncertain Peace: Changing Violence and Political Order in Lebanon 1975-2015

This MPT, reflects the work achieved these past semesters and aspires to be a living basis for my doctoral research.In the following pages, I expose first the origins of the problématique and the rational of the project.Then, the historiography on violence in the Middle East and the interdisciplinary literature existing on the topic is presented. Finally, the methodology reflects critically on the availability, relevance, and challenges faced with the identification an access of primary sources.
