In the framework of the “Open Science in History. From Enlightenment to Artificial Intelligence” conference, which will take place in Bern on November 21st, the CRAFT-OA project together with the conference organisers are creating a community-curated timeline of Open Science.
Why this timeline?
To share collaboratively different perspectives and standpoints on Open Access
To include actors and actions that may otherwise be forgotten
How will it be used?
The timeline will be printed in a graphical format and displayed to serve as a basis for collaboration during the “Open Science in History” conference and further in-person events. The updated timeline and the comments will be made public after the conference.
Timeline structure and scope
Any kind of event that has affected open science at the local, national or international level
Each event is broadly categorised by: actors; areas; scope of impact
How can I contribute online?
Open the spreadsheet and read through its contents (you cannot edit directly the document; but you can add comments)
Up to November 5th, use this Google Form to add a row to the sheet (Most questions are optional, including your name and affiliation; please note that information shared in the google form will be immediately public!)
We thank you in advance for your contributions.
