Conference Report: Decolonizing Curricula, Pluralizing Teaching and Research

In February 2023 the conference «Decolonizing Curricula, Pluralizing Teaching and Research» organised by the ETH in Zurich brought together international scholars and experts as well as Swiss researchers, activists, and politicians to discuss about postcolonial perspectives on universities in the 21st century. The three-day conference provided a platform for debating on how universities can make use of postcolonial insights to meet the teaching and researching challenges of the 21st century and become more open and diverse institutions that promote historical awareness, equality, and cosmopolitanism. Esperanza Anido Calvo’s (University of Vechta) report focuses on the key concepts, approaches, and discussions that shaped this comprehensive conference.
