7th Swiss Open Cultural Data Hackathon - project presentations

The seventh Swiss Open Cultural Data Hackathon took place from April 16 to 17 2021 as an online event. It was organised by the OpenGLAM.ch working group and virtually hosted by the ETH Library in Zurich.

As every year, programmers, representatives of cultural institutions, digital humanists, artists, Wikipedians and other interested people came together to experiment with open data and create interesting prototypes in a very short time.

These prototypes offer, for example, a virtual walk through Zurich around 1910, visualise the St. Gallen globe in 3D, make musical notes audible, enrich an oral history video with additional data or present digital artworks in an online gallery.

The presentations of the projects created over the two days can be viewed on our reporting page.
