Abstract
The twentieth century with the changes it brought in international politics projected many countries, especially the former German colonies into a new phase between coloniality and independence. One of them, Cameroon, experienced important socio-political transformations under international governance. The present research intends to address three avenues that require historical attention: border, identity and governance as a contribution to a decolonized African historiography.
