"From Unrest to Routine: A Comprehensive Exploration of the Normalization of Political Violence in Syria." Unpacking Inner and External Dynamics through Media Narratives and Collective Experiences of the Syrian Civil War.

This study explores the normalization of political violence in Syria, employing a hybrid qualitative-quantitative methodology. Interviews with Syrian civilians and journalists from "Al Jazeera" and "CNN," focus groups, and observational analysis form the core. Applying Finnemore and Sikkink's norm emergence model and Bar-Tal's insights, the research aims to unravel the complex interplay between media dynamics and the normalization of violence in the Syrian context.
