The research centre Dodis has published on its database a selection of the most relevant files on the history of Swiss foreign policy in the year 1995 from the Swiss Federal Archives.
The 1800 newly accessible documents reveal the various challenges facing Swiss foreign policy in 1995, including the treatment of asylum seekers during the Second World War and in the present day, preparations for Switzerland’s OSCE chairmanship, the course of bilateral negotiations with the EU, and the intensification of global economic contacts.
