The international project Impresso - Media Monitoring of the Past, which is building a corpus of digitised newspapers and radio broadcasts as well as various interfaces for searching them, has announced several new developments.
The first concerns the expansion of its corpus of newspapers available on the Impresso App, with around fifty new titles, notably from the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF) and the Bibliothèque cantonale et universitaire de Lausanne (BCUL).
The second is the Datalab, a new interface for directly querying the project's data. Access is via an API, made easier to use by Jupyter notebooks. Two extensive introductions will enable interested historians to acquire training in data science.
