«Swiss Alpine Research Collaboration» is a new alliance of four centers of Alpine research in Switzerland.
- CIRM – Centre interdisciplinaire de la recherche sur la montagne
- LabiSAlp – Laboratorio di Storia delle Alpi
- ikg – Institut für Kulturforschung Graubünden
- Urner Institut Kulturen der Alpen an der Universität Luzern
The aim of the alliance is to promote scholarly cooperation and increase public outreach. This also provides a certain balance to research based in the metropolitan areas of Switzerland.
Swiss ARC will be launched in 2025 with several events in Airolo, Sion and Chur.
