A new volume has just been published in our Living Books About History series. Anthony Glinoer (Université de Sherbrooke) published a Living Book on the theme The Literary and the Social.
An original introduction and about thirty freely accessible resources selected by the author are now available on the Living Books About History website.
Short Abstract:
Literature is never isolated from the social world, and there has been no shortage of works written to develop, intensify or illustrate that statement. The present anthology retraces the history of sociological and sociocritical approaches to literature, from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day.
