infoclio.ch is holding its annual conference on 20 November 2026 at the PROGR in Bern, organised this year in collaboration with Rosi Braidotti (Utrecht University) and Tatiana Crivelli (University of Zurich).
The conference ‘New Humanities. The Humanities in the 21st Century’ explores the contribution of the humanities to the production of knowledge that is relevant to our times, which are characterised by profound technological and climatic upheavals.
The programme features a keynote lecture by philosopher Rosi Braidotti, three sessions devoted to archives, transdisciplinary convergences, and the advancement of the humanities, as well as two panel discussions. The first examines the future of the humanistic disciplines within a competitive and globalised research landscape; the second considers the alliances between the creative arts, digital technologies, and scientific approaches.
The full programme is available online in four languages.
Registration is now open.
