Interview with Jasper Walgrave

Jasper Walgrave (University of Fribourg) studies cultural relations between Switzerland and South Africa during apartheid. Cultural cooperation, supported by actors with ideological positions aligned to white supremacist thought and thus apologetic of the apartheid regime, declined during the 1980s so as not to harm Swiss economic interests in South Africa as condemnation of the apartheid regime gained visibility.
