Colonial heritage and its significance today

In recent years, research has shown that phenomena such as globalization and climate change are closely interlinked with the history of colonialism. How do we explain this connection, what does it mean for the world today, and what form of responsibility do we draw from this? The anthropologist Shalini Randeria and the historian Debjani Bhattacharyya discuss the history of globalization and the climate crisis.
