Fondation Toms Pauli


The Fondation Toms Pauli has as its mission the study, conservation and promotion of collections of textile art, both antique and modern, belonging to the State of Vaud.

The Foundation does not have yet any permanent display space. Nevertheless, it organises exhibitions in Swiss and foreign museums and publishes catalogues. The collections can be viewed during temporary exhibitions.

Zentrum Paul Klee - Database Paul Klee

The Zentrum Paul Klee presents in an online database further information about its exhibitions, the exposed artists, life and work of Paul Klee as well as illustrations of the works of the collection.

Zentrum Paul Klee


The Zentrum Paul Klee is a centre of competence for research, mediation and presentation of Paul Klee (1879-1940), his life and his work.

The center shows in temporary exhibitions selected works of the Paul Klee-Collection and offers an interdisciplinary programme with music, dance, theatre and literature.

Rosengart Collection Lucerne


The Rosengart Collection was originally the private art collection of father-and-daughter Siegfried and Angela Rosengart. The Collection comprises well over 300 works by 23 different "Classic Modernist" artists, including names such as Monet, Cézanne, Bonnard, Matisse, Braque, Miró, Chagall, etc.

Museum of Fine Arts Bern


The Museum of Fine Arts Bern shows temporary exhibitions. Its collection comprises works from the Gothic era to the present and currently comprises over 4,000 paintings and sculptures as well as 48,000 drawings, prints, photographs, videos and films.

Besides temporary exhibitions, the Castle of Prangins shows also two permanent exhibitions:

Museum Hermann Hesse


A permanent exhibition shows Hermann Hesse's life in Montagnola. The personal belongings, photos, books and watercolour paintings reflect the writer's character, but also Hesse as a private person.

Numerous photos, illustrations and drawings from the exhibits are available in the online gallery.

Fondation Beyeler


The Fondation Beyeler museum shows special exhibitions.

Museum Tinguely Basel - Library/Archives/Documentation


The collection of the archives and library of the Museum Tinguely covers all the publications, documents and various other materials of information by and on Jean Tinguely and his time, furthermore lexica and essays on art of the 20th century as well as «grey literature» (brochures, invitation cards, posters, flyers and press clippings):

The Museum Tinguely - created by the architect Mario Botta - shows in temporary exhibitions works of the painter, designer and sculptor Jean Tinguely (1925-1991).
